Virginia: Staunton Virginia Hotel

STAUNTON — The U.S. Marshals will ride into town this week, thanks in part to a couple of former federal agents who teamed with city leaders to turn the Queen City into a contender as a home for the agency's museum.
Tiki and Ronde Barber are heading to the hall of fame. No, not the big one in Canton, Ohio. The former Cave Spring athletes will be inducted into the Virginia High School Hall of Fame in Charlottesville on Oct. 17.
Members of the public will be able to comment on Virginia's 2008-2013 transportation-improvement program at nine public hearings around the state this fall.
HARRISONBURG — "Laundry and Bourbon," a student-directed comedy revolving around the lives of three small-town women and their less-than-ideal marriages, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 to 7 on Thomas Plaza of the Campus Center at Eastern Mennonite University.
